2013 NBAA Press Release
Pilot John GSE is pleased to announce we are the exclusive corporate and FBO distributor for JBT AeroTech in the United States and other territories. JBT manufactures a full line of 400 HZ diesel and electric ground power units, preconditioned air units, and 28.5 VDC rectifiers.
JBT AeroTech, Jetway Systems offers unparalleled product range and support, plus the convenience of a single source supplier for both ground power units and preconditioned air systems. With successful innovations, we have served the airport industry since 1959. Let our expertise provide you the utmost in cost-efficient solutions for your operations.
As one of the world’s leading suppliers of 400 Hz ground power units for the past twenty five years, JBT now offers a redesigned JetPower system with a Multi-Tap Transformer offering 208/230/460 VAC (and any voltage in between), 3 Phase 50/60 HZ, the IIIs, for hangar applications. This unit features easy, single person mobility in a hangar or apron environment. It incorporates the industry leading reliability and diagnostic capabilities you have come to expect from JetPower products. As an option, a 12 step input and a 28 VDC subsystem can be added. As with all JetPower equipment, the IIIs has been designed to withstand extreme outdoor and indoor environments. The IIIs gives you added flexibility to bring the power to the plane in more locations and conditions, resulting in less downtime.
Another recent introduction, the JBT JetPower III/28 is a compact 28 VDC ground power supply designed to provide aircraft with power from a standard 50 or 60 Hz source. This unit is available in 200, 400 and 600 amp versions and features a 4 wheel cart for easy, single-person transport. As you would expect, the cabinet is fully weather-proof and designed for either indoor or outdoor operation. This unit provides the power you need for smaller craft in a lightweight, easy to maneuver package.
JBT has also recently introduced the JetPower Mobile TR (Transformer/Rectifier). The TR is designed to provide 28 VDC from an existing 400 Hz system. It supplies a fully regulated 28.5 VDC output with an optional current limit. The TR is a handy solution to support regional aircraft in an environment already equipped to supply 400 Hz. The size makes them easily transportable, allowing a single Mobile TR to support multiple locations. It is a cost-effective solution to expand the capabilities of your operation.

The JBT JetPower D-Series mobile diesel-powered GPU’s leverage our decades of experience in aircraft power systems along with our extensive experience in mobile diesel-powered preconditioned air systems. In sizes ranging from 60 to 180 KVA, they support a range of aircraft, from regional to jumbo, ready with all the features and options needed for robust, reliable and easy operation. An optional 28 VDC subsystem allows support of smaller regional aircraft, covering just about any need you may encounter.
